The Y offers sports all year, providing opportunities for teamwork, skill building and character development for the youth of Central Lincoln County.

We offer an array of different programs and age groups. Travel teams, skills clinics, and tournaments are all designed to work on skills development and teamwork.


Spring sessions offer competitive team play for boys and girls grades 3-8. Fall sessions offer a LAX skills clinic for ages 8-12


We offer a clinic to get players ready for the season. 


Our soccer program includes skills clinics and leagues for all age groups.


Mountain Biking

During this program, riders will travel to Midcoast Conservancy Hidden Valley Nature Center (HVNC) to focus on Mountain Biking riding on all FAT Bikes. This class will educate riders on hill climbing, distance riding, bike maintenance, and overall safety.

Skate & Ride 

This program will take the youth to Maine’s largest indoor skate park offering more than 6,000 square feet. The park in Bath has scooter and helmet rentals available. All is included in the registration. If you would like to attend, please fill out a waiver form and have it notarized and fill out emergency contact info at the front desk.


The CLC YMCA and Wawenock Golf Club offer youth golf lessons after school. Wawenock golf staff and Joe Clark will teach kids the fundamentals of the game by spending time on the driving range, putting green, and time on the course.

Rock Climbing

The adventure courses and indoor climbing wall at Kieve-Wavus are noted as some of the best challenge courses in the country. Rest assured your child will engage in the very best high and low ropes course team-building and individual learning experience available today. Kieve’s course is supervised by certified professionals whose number one goal is safety.

Candlepin Bowling

Youth bowling is a great sport combining team play and individual skills which help build confidence in our youth.

Skiing and

Enjoy Skiing or snowboarding at Camden Snow Bowl with friends after school! Skiers and snowboarders must be independent and have prior experience. Must be able to board/exit chairlifts as well as be aware of their surroundings.


The Y is now offering Itty Bitty and Beginner gymnastics. These programs focus on orienting students with equipment and balancing participants' comfort level with each event the class visits. Participants will begin to develop body awareness and fundamental skills.
