Your teen can build leadership skills while making a difference at the Y! Starting in November, selected Teen Mentors will be paid to support younger students after school and join the Y Teen Leadership Council. Mentors can help in areas that interest them, including homework, fitness, tennis, and FARMS.

Your child will learn new skills and create something to take home! Each month introduces a different handwork technique, such as beading, weaving, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, or sewing.

Your teen will connect with friends, explore their interests, and give back through this free afterschool program. Each afternoon includes a healthy snack, homework time, a Y program of choice, and a service activity. Offered Monday–Friday, 3:00–5:30 pm, beginning in November. Your child will explore their creativity through a different art topic each month! From painting and drawing to collage, printmaking, and clay, kids will try new materials and techniques while creating artwork of their own.

Your child will discover the satisfaction of making something by hand! Each month explores a different technique, such as embroidery, needlepoint, beading, knitting, crocheting, weaving, or sewing.

Young artists will explore a different art topic each month, experimenting with materials such as paint, oil pastels, clay, and more. Your child will develop creative skills and express their ideas through hands-on projects.
