The CLC YMCA is excited to introduce the NEW Adult Adventure Club — an amazing opportunity for local adventure seekers to get outside, try something new, and meet great people along the way!
The Adult Adventure Club is a year-round series of monthly trips (on weekends), designed for those who crave fresh air, new experiences, and a little Maine magic.
All trips are $75 for all participants and registration must be completed by 4 PM on the Wednesday before each trip date.
Trips are currently scheduled through April 2026. Each trip includes:

A reserved seat for you on the CLC YMCA bus (taking the bus is part of the adventure!)

Transportation to and participation at all adventure locations (Please note: some activities, equipment, or optional experiences at adventure locations may require an additional fee)

A safe, fun, and organized group experience — bring friends along or meet new ones!

FEBRUARY 21
BEACH EXPLORATION
& SAUNA ADVENTURE
AT POPHAM

Adventure Details

Sauna Session — 9:15 AM - 10:30 AM (shared sauna with your fellow CLC YMCA adventure participants)

To participate in the Sauna Session, an additional $35 is required (this will grant you a spot in the shared sauna with your fellow CLC YMCA adventurers) and you must reserve this portion of the event in advance by emailing Molly Cooper at mcooper@clcymca.org by 4 PM on February 11.

Beach Exploration — 10:30 AM - NOON

This trip coincides well with low tide, offering plenty of beach space to explore the more than 2.5 miles of sandy beach and opportunities to search for sand dollars, shells, or explore Fort Popham (right next door) or Fort Baldwin (just on the hill behind).

MAINE MAPLE ADVENTURE

Explore a number of local farm sugarhouses and enjoy maple syrup samples, demonstrations of how Maine maple syrup is made, and more! Different activities will be available at each farm we visit together.

APRIL 25
LIGHTHOUSE TOUR ADVENTURE
IN MIDCOAST MAINE

Explore three different Midcoast Maine lighthouses, with time at each landmark to take in the history, breathtaking views, and incredible surrounding nature trails.
