Lisa Gilbride
Racquet Sports Director
Lisa Gilbride has been directing the tennis program at the CLC YMCA for 21 years. During her era, the program has gone from a one-woman show on two multi-purpose courts, to a six-person staff on three dedicated tennis courts. The Y is very proud of the tennis program and its outreach to communities throughout the Y’s service area. The adopt-a-school programs at Nobleboro and Great Salt Bay have allowed us to introduce a "sport of a lifetime" to hundreds of children. The program was recognized by the MTA as Indoor Tennis Facility of the Year in 2012 and continues to be a USTA flagship program in terms of innovations in teaching children tennis. In 2015 Lisa was recognized nationally as the USPTA Community Service Award Recipient. She is a USPTA-certified Elite professional and USPTR certified. Lisa lives in Topsham with her husband, Tim. They have three grown children and a granddaughter!
