About the event
Join the CLC YMCA for the Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening of Discovery Village, our new nature-based learning center, on Friday, November 13, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. at 525 Main Street in Damariscotta.
Discovery Village is the result of an incredible community effort. Thanks to the generosity of donors, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors across Lincoln County, we surpassed our $4 million campaign goal and built five beautiful yurts that will expand access to safe, affordable, high-quality childcare for local families. It's a place where our youngest learners can grow, play, and explore with nature as their classroom.
This community-wide celebration is a special chance to tour the yurts, explore the village, see the playground and mural up close, and be there as we officially cut the ribbon on this exciting new chapter. Children, families, friends, and neighbors of all ages are welcome, and we'll have refreshments and family activities for everyone…
