PLANNED GIVING

What if you could leave a legacy that reflects your values and continues to make an impact long after you are gone?

Dear CLC YMCA Friend,

The Central Lincoln County YMCA benefits from visionary leaders and generous benefactors who have preceded us in addition to those who continue to support our Y today.   We are sincerely grateful for this charitable support and as an advocate of the CLC Y, we know you appreciate the magnitude of impact the Y has on our community every day.

To ensure long term, financial sustainability and growth, our Y is planning for the future.  For the first time in our history, an endowment fund and planned giving program will be created to help ensure the continuity, stability and preservation of the CLC Y for generations to come.  This program will enable our donors to both protect the financial benefits of their families AND help the Y achieve similar goals related to its mission for future generations. As a leading community-based non-profit, the Y will use planned gifts to create and build an endowment so that thousands of individuals and families will grow stronger and healthier.

In addition, we are thrilled to announce the inception of the Merritt Society which will recognize and honor those who invest in our Y for the FUTURE by making planned commitments to our YMCA TODAY.  The Merritt Society is aptly named in honor of Norman and Josephine Merritt whose legacy gift in 2015 helped transform our organization from a recreation center into the community center.

As we launch our program, we are gathering information to better understand what our key stakeholders think of this next critical step in our maturation.  Click HERE for a brief questionnaire that we hope you will take a few minutes to complete and return to us.

Thank you again for your continued support of our Y…YOUR Y.  Together we can make our community stronger, healthier and more prosperous far into the future!

My best,

Meagan Hamblett
