Enjoy a summer of fun learning how to sail.  The YMCA now offers sailing camp in two locations, Round Pond ocean sailing or Jefferson lake sailing.  Kids 8-15 can learn sailing and seamanship skills at the YMCA’s Sailing Camp. Our staff of experienced instructors will teach your kids lifetime skills in our fleet of 14’ dinghies. The new sailors have an opportunity for non-stop fun in, on and around the water in a safe, clean, outdoor environment. No experience necessary. Children should be comfortable in water and must complete a swim check.

Round Pond Sailing Camp - Learn to sail on the ocean.  Operated out of Round Pond, the sailing cabin is located across from the Anchor Inn.  
Half day or full day programs are available.

Damariscotta Sailing Camp - This is a brand new program.  The YMCA in conjunction with the Damariscotta Lake Watershed Association now offers sailing camp on Damariscotta Lake.  Operated out of the DLWA headquarters, this program will use a combination of boats to teach students to sail.
