CLC YMCA GROUP EXERCISE SCHEDULE

JUNE 2008

The CLC YMCA is committed to improving the health and wellness for individuals of all ages and abilities.   It is never too late to start.  Let our trained staff show you a workout that is right for you.  The CLC YMCA has free orientations for members.  Let the CLC YMCa help you begin your path to a healthier life.

Need a Personal Trainer? The CLC offers Personal Training to our members & non-members.  Certified instructors will use various modes of exercise to develop a personalized strength training program that will provide you with structure and motivation in meeting your fitness goals. 

Babysitting offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11am in the Daycare.

One Fee for all classes: $40 for Members and $65 for Non-Members

Spinning classes are included in the fee, however,

you must register to reserve a bike.

Spinning, Stepping, Strong ~ Mon/Wed/Fri 5:45-6:45am.  If you are a morning person then this class is for you!  Instructor Mary Snow takes her participants through a tough workout spinning, step aerobics and weight training.
Summer Challenge ~ Mon/Wed/Fri 7:00-8:00am. Join Alison and Megan for a great summer aerobic workout!  For cardio they do a combination of step, bikes and more. 
Fit for Life ~ Mon/Wed/Fri 8:15-9:15am. is a class that combines low-impact cardio, gentle weight training, balance and relaxation for anyone seeking a gentle but thorough workout: older adults, pregnant women, and people with chronic stiffness or those just starting out with their fitness regimen.
Spinning ~ Tue/Thu 6:00-6:45am Get a quick, tough workout before you start work in this 45 minute class.  7:00-8:00am ~ Spin for an intense hour with Cynthia.  She'll push you fast, slow or up impossible hills.  Get ready to sweat.
Lunch Crunch ~ Thu 12:00-1:00pm. Get an intense lunch break workout with 45 minutes of spinning and 15 minutes of Ab work.
Mat Pilate's ~ Tue/Thu 8:00am-9:00am. Cynthia teaches this class and is one of our most popular classes.  Pilate's class includes standing exercise, mat work, ball work, weights and much more!  The class is appropriate for beginners as well as a seasoned athlete.
Core & More ~ Tue/Thu 5:00-6:00pm.  Finish your day with a complete workout with Robin.  She will start with low impact aerobics and then work you into a great weight lifting and stretching workout.  She uses exercises from traditional weight training moves to Pilate's.  This is a great class for variety.
Additional Classes Coming This Fall
Flex & Fit ~ Mon/Wed/Fri 7:45-9:15.  Class begins with 15 minutes of walking on the track and continues with low impact aerobics, strength, balance and flexibility exercise.
Total Workout ~ Mon/Wed/Fri 9:30-11am. This is a high energy high intensity, calorie burning workout suited for all levels! Including:  Overall strength training, a step/floor routine with easy to learn moves,  ending with a core workout and relaxing stretches.  This class surely will make you sweat!
Cardio Challenge ~ Mon/Wed 6:00-7:00pm. An interval workout alternating strength and cardio step routine.  Core workout and stretch complete this great workout
